The red bird could be a symbol of happiness or hope that flees from us and we are left alone in a dense forest in the middle of the autumn waiting for the final slumber.

I used programmed drums in the past because I did not have access to the right person and studio. We started as a very small band with practically no budget and at that time the only way to pull out music was programming drums. This attitude somehow stayed with me throughout the years but this time I really needed something more organic and Árpád was a no-brainer choice because he is our drummer in the live band and loves the music. His playing elevated the songs and I could not be happier with the result.

We shot our first video for "Paths Untrodden" from our second album in 2001. But since then I returned many times to Makó for videos. Even though now I live in Budapest, my family still lives in Makó and I visit the town regularly, I still walk around a lot and this is my home so it is cosy and easy to get there and shoot something and it also adds to the authenticity of the music.

The thing is there had been another video done to the this song. A really professional one. However I did not like the result, it felt it did not connect to the vibe of the songs or the band so I decided to make another one myself but the time was very limited. As you can see, this is a pretty DIY style video with many ideas put together but I'm happy about it because it's more like me and in this age of digital perfection it feels better to see something more humane.
